Exfoliate! If you want healthy looking, radiant skin, it is important to exfoliate. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, leaving your skin smooth. Try to exfoliate at least twice a week.
Drink more water. Water flushes toxins and waste products out of the body and keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized. Try to drink between 8 to 12 glasses of water a day for healthy skin.
Vitamins. Add more vitamins to your diet. Vitamin A, which can be found in milk, cheese and carrots, prevents skin dehydration and slows down the ageing process. Vitamin B from yoghurts and brown bread can help blood circulation and skin color. Vitamin C helps with the production of collagen, which is essential for a smooth, supple and healthy looking.
Get some sleep. The body repairs damage to the skin during sleep.
Protect your skin from the sun. If you spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun, make sure you use a good sunscreen lotion to protect your skin from harmful ultra-violet rays from the sun.
